University study can be highly rewarding, but it can be challenging at the best of times too. The Student Support Office at Heythrop coordinates access to a range of resources including health, welfare, disablity and dyslexia, equality and diversity, and wellbeing support to help you stay happy, healthy and get the most of your time here.
From Professor Claire Ozanne, 25 January 2018
With Lent term well under way, I am writing to encourage you all to continue the hard work that you are applying to your studies and to thank you for your participation in the various events and activities (both physical and virtual) that the College is offering this year. The many smiling faces at the Graduation ceremony in December was a reminder that we are all very proud of your achievements.
Thank you for your feedback on the support the College is providing for your studies in this, our final year. Below you will find a summary of the plans in place to aid you in completing your awards (this will also be sent to you by post). It is important that you read the details contained in the document and get back to those named with any concerns you might have as soon as possible.
The College is providing a range of opportunities to students in 2017/18 in the areas of employability and academic enrichment: please see Student Experience Committment 2017/18 for more information.
I should like to thank the HSU co-presidents, Henry and Matt for the work they do to represent our students, both at formal committee meetings and in the background – do let them know how you are doing and support them in providing feedback to us.
