Why choose this course?
If your questions bring together the fundamental queries of philosophy and a desire to know more about the Christian tradition of theology, then this joint degree is for you. It gives you the opportunity to combine the critical approaches of both philosophy and theology. Both subjects are intellectually demanding and satisfying, and develop transferable skills useful in many fields of employment.
What could I go on to do?
If you choose to go on to further study, the degree will prepare you for a Masters programme in either of the two disciplines, or to train for a profession through a graduate entry scheme or teacher training programme. The analytical and communication skills the degree develops are those which many employers most want.
