Why study at Heythrop for a research degree?
Heythrop is a friendly, focused environment in which to conduct research. Its small size (40 staff, 35 students, across three departments) enables staff to be generous with time and individual support, and allows students to get to know one another and share ideas. And yet Heythrop is home to the prestigious Heythrop Journal, has one of the finest specialist libraries in philosophy and theology in the UK, as well as providing full access to Senate House library, and its situation within the University of London means there is always lots going on, with regular opportunities to hear and engage with world-famous academics.
