Why choose this course?

When Heythrop introduced a BA in Abrahamic Religions, in 2007, it was the first such degree in the world.  We believe that this MA is similarly unique. If you have a first degree – not necessarily in theology or religious studies – and you wish to extend your understanding of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, this new MA may suit you.  It is likely to attract teachers, religious ministers, Imams, Rabbis, community leaders, civil servants and all those who are interested in Abrahamic religions and dialogue between them.

What could I go on to do?

• Many part-time students already involved in ministry, teaching or community work are likely to continue in their existing roles, using the degree as a means to improve or refresh professional development or to improve career opportunities.
• The degree is a good foundation for further research, at Heythrop or elsewhere.
