
UG Scholarships and Bursaries
The College offers a generous package of scholarships and bursaries as well as charging a fee that is lower than that of most other universities.
Academic Excellence Scholarships 2012/13
Our Academic Excellence Scholarships are awarded to ALL students who achieve three A grades at A-Level (or equivalent), excluding General Studies. You must choose Heythrop as your firm choice with UCAS. The scholarship will be awarded as £1,000 per year, subject to satisfactory academic progress to a maximum of £3,000 over the duration of your study.
National Scholarship Programme Awards
These Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit, including at least one A grade at A-Level (or equivalent) and motivation to study at Heythrop. It is awarded to students with a household income of £25,000 or less.
The scholarship will be awarded as £1,000 cash and £2,000 towards accommodation or fees in year 1. In years 2 and 3 it will be awarded as fee waivers of £1,500 each year, subject to satisfactory academic progress. The maximum award over the duration of your study is £6,000.
Students in receipt of a National Scholarship Programme Award are not eligible for the other forms of financial assistance.

BA Abrahamic Religions Bursary
ALL students on this degree programme will be awarded £1,250 per annum, subject to satisfactory academic progress. The maximum award over the duration of your study is £3,750.
Student Support Bursaries
Heythrop is committed to encouraging the study of theology and philosophy among students from all backgrounds, while at the same time ensuring that the College is able to invest in improving the quality of its provision. In order to support access to its courses, the College is spending 52% of the additional fee income on a range of bursaries, one of the highest levels in the sector.
