Information for Heythrop College academic staff wishing to visit a partner institution:
Staff may wish to apply for ERASMUS funding to visit a partner institution to offer lectures and participate in other teaching activities. The scheme funds visits from a minimum of one week (eight hours contact time) up to six months.
Application process:
Anyone interested in participating in this mobility scheme should discuss it initially with their Head of Department, who will consider the merits of the proposal in the light of other calls on staff time. A short visit may be facilitated by informal arrangements, a longer visit may need approval from the Academic Board for a sabbatical.
Staff should make a formal application via the ERASMUS Coordinator.
Post visit activities:
A short report on your visit will be required, stating what activities were undertaken, and highlighting any benefits which can be brought back to Heythrop, for example innovative teaching and learning activities, curriculum content etc. Reports will be considered by the ERASMUS Coordinator and an Annual Report on ERASMUS activities will be presented to the Academic Board.
