How do I access my Heythrop email account?

Your Heythrop email account can be accessed using the http://mail.heythrop.ac.uk/ link and entering your email address and password.

It is expected that email access will continue for up to 5 years following closure of the College. Email usage will continue to be subject to Heythrop Computing Regulations and access can be removed at any time.

How do you I obtain an employment reference?

If you signed a settlement agreement, there will be a reference written by your line-manager/Departmental Head in the agreement.

Separately, the University of London will hold your basic employment details for a factual reference if you had given Heythrop College the permission to pass this information on. Therefore, if you wish a potential employer to obtain a factual reference for you through the University of London, using the information they have been permitted to hold, please ask the employer to contact:

Can I access some of my work previously saved on the College IT network?

Unfortunately not - all data saved on the College's IT network was securely destroyed following closure.

I have a query regarding my pension - who should I get in touch with?

Any pension queries can be addressed direct to your specific pension provider, likely to be either SAUL or USS:

Can I get a copy of my material on the College publications database?

Unfortunately not - the publication database will not be available following closure.

How do I stay in touch with fellow staff and Alumni?

The Heythrop Association is a new charity set up to help past Heythrop staff and students to stay in touch.

How do I get in touch with other past Heythrop staff?

Some past staff have chosen to leave details of subsequent positions, LinkedIn or Academia.edu addresses on their personal profile pages. See Past Academic and Support Staff for details.

Can I still borrow from the Heythrop Library?

Can I visit the old Heythrop College buildings in Kensington Square?

The former Heythrop College site has now been sold - unfortunately past staff and students are unable to visit the site.
