The past twenty years have witnessed a flowering of research interest in Catholic education. There is a growing body of well-argued and rigorously grounded research into Catholic education. This conference will focus on this new thinking about Catholic education and schools. Alongside leading voices on Catholic education, the conference will give many of those who have completed doctoral studies in recent years an opportunity to share their research findings.
The confirmed speakers include, amongst others, Dr Maureen Glackin (St Mary’s), Dr Ros Stuart-Buttle (Hope), Professor Stephen McKinney (Glasgow), Professor Gerald Grace (St Mary’s), Professor Richard Pring and Professor John Sullivan.
This conference will provide an exceptional opportunity to discover and explore the contemporary state of Catholic education in a way that is thoroughly grounded in high quality research. Cost of conference: In order to reduce costs and encourage more participants this will be a non-residential conference. The full conference is £75 and a single day rate of £45 is available.
