A Level Philosophy

6th Form Philosophy Conferences

Each March, the Heythrop philosophy department organises a one-day conference for A Level Philosophy students, choosing topics from the AQA AS and A2 syllabus. Past speakers have included Julian Baggini (Philosophy: Key Themes), Chris Horner (Thinking Through Philosophy), Michael Lacewing (Philosophy for AS and A2), Stephen Law (The Philosophy Gym), and Nigel Warburton (Philosophy: The Basics). Information on the conference is usually sent out the preceding November. Places are limited, and sell out very quickly. Further information on future conferences will be posted when available.
