The programme focuses on the core themes of Christian theology that provide a suitable foundation for Christian ministry and a basis for further study in theology. The high number of core elements provides a highly structured and coherent degree. Options can be so selected as to enable students to satisfy the academic requirements for candidates for the Catholic priesthood. Heythrop's small size, together with its focus on the academic disciplines of Theology and Philosophy, ensure a high level of individual support for students.
