Brief description of this programme
This programme provides an opportunity to study Philosophy, Religion and Ethics as both separate and inter-related disciplines. For example, in studying Philosophy, students will consider the nature of knowledge, truth and meaning, and the structure of arguments, but they will also focus on philosophical questions about Religion and Ethics – the existence and nature of the divine as it is perceived in various religious traditions, the implications of religious belief for the way we live and our hope for the future, and the nature of moral reasoning and its application to contemporary moral dilemmas.
