Departmental Boards
On the 2nd November 2011 the Academic Board approved a recommendation for the establishment of formal Departmental Boards. One formal Departmental Board meeting will take place each term, with standing agenda items for curriculum, learning, teaching and assessment and research. The meetings will be attended by and supported by committee secretaries, with the aim of providing a more effective and direct communication channel between academic staff, administrators and management, as well as a forum for discussing strategy and plans to feed into the relevant committees.
