Current teaching

Undergraduate courses in New Testament and NT Greek; contributions on the Gospels, History of Interpretation; exegesis of Gospel texts. Postgraduate teaching includes a contribution to the MA in Biblical Studies, notably a module on the critical reading of Mark’s Gospel. Supervision of research students is carried out as required.

Research interests

Gospel methodology, including appropriate approaches for the interpretation of ancient popular texts; the application of aspects of film narratology to individual gospels and the four gospel tradition; feminist hermeneutics.
