Biography
Anthony Baxter’s degrees are: MA (Oxford), MPhil (Oxford), BD (London), PhD (Princeton). The degrees span Law, Politics, Philosophy and Theology. He also did independent study in Theology at Cambridge University.
At Heythrop he is a Lecturer in Systematic Theology.
He is a priest of the Diocese of Westminster. He has lived, and helped, in parishes situated within areas of inner London marked by social, ethnic and religious diversity.
Current teaching
His teaching includes undergraduate courses Christ, God and Salvation, Fundamentals of Revelation, and Experience, Thought and Revelation; and a range of supervision.
Research interests
His main academic interests are: Christology and soteriology; divine action; epistemology and the theology of revelation; human experience and language.
